Lawn Alternatives

Lawn in a garden serves as a simple, peaceful and unified aspect to a garden. It gives it structure and a practical usable space. We understand the need for such areas but due to the climate in which we live, we look for alternatives that need no watering and mowing. Depending on the size of area required as to which method we use either carpeting plants in a gravel mulch such as Thyme or Achillea, or a lawn substitute such as Zoysia, Lippia or Dichondra.

These alternatives also have more horticultural interest than traditional lawns with variations in tone, flowering seasons and so on.
