This garden was experimental, and created completely from seed originally. Once we established what did or didn't work we were able to expand the plant selection as well as splitting and dividing existing plants to increase the surface area that was planted.

A lot of pioneer plants were used because of their propensity for self seeding, they fill the ground quickly though leave a somewhat 'random' effect.

The garden is an excellent example of how a project can be developed over several years, with the pool being added several years after the initial planting.
